Swipa

Privacy Policy

Effective September 15, 2026. Brand AI Labs LLC provides Swipa, an iPhone carousel editor, and this website. Questions about privacy: support@imbrand.ai.

Your projects stay under your control

Swipa does not require an account. Carousel documents, text, imported photos and copies of the design resources you use are stored in the app’s local storage. We do not operate a server that receives or synchronizes your projects. Exported images are saved to your Photos library when you choose Download and allow access.

Apple may include app data in device backups according to your settings. Your Photos library may also use iCloud Photos. Those services are controlled by you and Apple; they are separate from Swipa’s own storage.

Photos and camera

You choose the photos you import. Camera access is used when you choose to take a photo. Saving an export uses permission to add images to Photos. You can change the app’s permissions in iPhone Settings. Refusing a permission does not grant us access to your library.

Technical diagnostics

We use Sentry to investigate crashes, freezes and technical errors and to keep the app working. Diagnostic records may contain the type and stack of a failure, error codes, technical counters such as slide count, app and iOS versions, device model, memory or screen measurements, and fixed names of screens visited around a failure.

Records are linked to one randomly generated installation identifier stored in the device Keychain without iCloud synchronization. It is not an account, advertising identifier or hardware identifier. Keychain data may survive reinstalling the app; reinstalling does not guarantee a new identifier.

Our diagnostic filters exclude carousel titles and text, photos, photo hashes and local file paths, payment details, screenshots, screen recordings and arbitrary screen or error descriptions. Sentry is configured not to store IP addresses or user geography in diagnostic events. Network providers still process an IP address to deliver a request. We do not use diagnostics for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Templates, the website and service providers

Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) delivers the website, public templates, textures and app configuration. Requests necessarily involve network information, including your IP address and the requested resource. We have not enabled CloudFront or S3 access logging for this service. These requests do not upload your carousel contents.

Sentry processes diagnostics for us. AWS delivers static resources. Apple handles App Store purchases, subscription status, system permissions and any Apple backup services you use. Swipa reads the subscription status needed to unlock Plus; we do not receive your payment card information. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, cookie-based tracking or submission forms. For the providers’ own practices, see Sentry’s privacy policy, AWS’s privacy notice and Apple’s privacy policy.

If you contact support

Emailing support is optional. We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to answer you and resolve the request. Please send only what is needed; a description of the issue and app version is usually a good starting point. Swipa does not automatically email us projects, photos or logs.

Why we process information

We process information to provide the app and purchased features, deliver resources, diagnose faults, answer support requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these purposes generally rely on providing the service, our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable service, your permission for optional device access, or an applicable legal requirement. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Storage and deletion

Local projects remain until you delete them in Swipa or remove the app’s data. Deleting a carousel does not remove exports already saved in Photos or copies in Apple backups. Manage those copies using Apple’s settings. Swipa’s cleanup removes unneeded local image resources when it can safely determine they are unused; old document copies or unreadable files can delay cleanup.

Our current Sentry plan provides a 30-day event viewing window. That is not a promise that every provider backup or operational record is erased on day 30. Provider retention rules, security and legal requirements may apply. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to address the request, follow up on the issue, and meet applicable legal or security needs. We review whether it is still needed rather than promising one fixed deletion period for every type of record.

The installation identifier can remain in Keychain while present on the device. We do not use it to link your devices. We protect access to our service accounts and restrict diagnostic collection, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can manage permissions, local projects, exports, subscriptions and Apple backups on your device. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact support@imbrand.ai for a request. We may need enough information to locate the relevant records and verify the request; we cannot retrieve local projects that were never sent to us. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

Updates

We will publish changes to this policy here with an updated effective date. Check this page for the current description of Swipa’s practices.
